Breakfast Sausage Casserole
9 eggs 6 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
3 C milk 1 1/4 lbs. bulk sausage
9 slices white bread, cubed
Brown sausage, drain. Beat eggs. Add milk. Add bread cubes, stir in cheese and sausage. Pour into a 9x13x2 in. pan. Let sit overnight in the fridge. Bake at 350 for 45 min. Let stand a few minutes before serving. Also reheats nicely.
I have made this with half sausage and half textured soy protein ( vegetarian "beef") and no one noticed.
